Anahim Lake Eagle’s Nest Resort

"Located in an age-old wilderness, where Native North Americans have long lived and the explorer Alexander Mackenzie once passed, there is a special place of comfort, elegance and closeness to the land."

Overlooking pristine Anahim Lake in the heart of British Columbia's beautiful Chilcotin plateau, Eagle's Nest Resort provides you with comfort in the wilderness. Choose an elegant suite or cozy log cabin, enjoy delightful meals in our lakeside dining room, experience breathtaking views, exceptional birdwatching, and the natural splendor of the area.

We look forward to serving you.

Eagle's Nest is open year round, and is a restful stopover during your trip along Highway 20 between Williams Lake and Bella Coola.

While at Eagle’s Nest you can rent a boat or canoe to fish for rainbow trout, to explore the lake, see a beaver lodge, or watch the pelicans as they fish. Enjoy a day hike around the Eagle’s Nest Marsh Trail, along a volcanic canyon wall, or up Mt. Kappan for a magnificent 270 degree view of the Pacific Coast Mountains and the Chilcotin Plateau.

Eagle's Nest has been described as "a virtual birding hotspot" - the grounds and lake are alive with birdlife of all descriptions. And if you enjoy photography, the Anahim Lake area offers amazing photographic opportunities.

Eagle's Nest can help you arrange day trips to places that are truly not-to-be-missed. Consider a spectacular floatplane tour to see amazing vistas of rugged mountaintops, roaring waterfalls, and massive glaciers. Then return to your comfortable Eagle's Nest accommodations where you can enjoy a sumptuous evening meal in our dining room.

We also offer relaxation on our comfortable screened veranda or beautiful guest garden, as well as in our outdoor hot tub. Enjoy shopping in our delightful boutique, and make use of our wireless Internet access.

Eagle's Nest thanks Chris Harris (Country Light Publishing, 108 Mile Ranch, BC), Roy Allan (Chilliwack, BC), Lake District Air (Burns Lake), and several talented in-house photographers for the use of their photos.
