While at Eagle’s Nest you can rent a boat to fish for some of the plentiful rainbow trout, or a canoe to explore the lake, see a beaver lodge, or perhaps the pelicans as they fish. You can enjoy the view from a table in our garden over lunch, or rejuvenate in our 24 hour hot tub. And of course, the Eagle’s Nest Boutique is a joy to browse in.

For the more adventurous, enjoy a hike around the Eagle’s Nest Marsh Trail, along the canyon wall of The Precipice, or one of several hikes in nearby Tweedsmuir Park (see The Sights). The Eagle's Nest property has been described as "a virtual birding hotspot", as the grounds and lake are alive with birdlife of all descriptions (see Birds and Wildlife). And if you enjoy photography, the Anahim Lake area presents amazing photographic opportunities.

For tours of the most spectacular wilderness sights, Eagle's Nest offers personalized adventure packages that can take you to majestic and stunning locations. Depart by float plane from our dock, and in no time you can be enjoying alpine wildflowers or spectacular views of mountaintops, waterfalls, and glaciers. Trail rides by horseback, for just a day or for a week, are available through several operators in the area. Eagle’s Nest can help you to make arrangements. And Eagle’s Nest is the perfect base for day trips throughout the area, whether down “The Hill” to Bella Coola or to the many wilderness sights that make the Chilcotin region so special.

In winter, enjoy skating or playing hockey on our ice rink, cross-country ski across the frozen lake, snowshoe in the woods, or take a spectacular snowmobile trip into the Rainbow Mountains. Of course, you can always curl up by a cozy fire as well.
